Kelley, Olga Mary On April 17, 2010, our beloved 95 year old mother, grandmother and great grandmother, went to sleep here on earth and woke up in the arms of Jesus, surrounded by all the love she so selflessly gave to others throughout her lifetime. Olga was born in Washington Heights, NY on March 27, 1915 to Bela and Olga (Kosanovits) Rieger, and spent her happy life in Oceanside, LI, before moving to Sun City, AZ in 1977. Olga was married to the love of her life, Edward Kelley for 49 years, until his passing in 1983. She is survived by her children, Gail Willson of Sun City, AZ, Karen Welch of Peoria, AZ, Midge Sramek of San Diego, CA, Edward Kelley Jr, of Scottsdale, AZ, and a sister Rosemary Higgins of Bradenton, FL. Her joy was taking care of her family and her home and being surrounded by her many friends. She will be remembered by all as a gracious hostess who made everyone feel welcome in her home, and by her 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren for her love of cooking and introducing yet another generation to the joys of Hungarian food and fun parties. She has been an active bridge player her entire life, with duplicate bridge days being the highlight of her week. Olga's bright and sunny personality, her inner strength and positive thinking, the excitement of planning for the next cruise, a Palm Springs vacation or an overnight at Harrah's, her absolute love of life and the joy she brought to others are just some of the gifts and life lessons that her family and friends will miss while cherishing her memory. No words can express how grateful we have been to have had her in our lives. Olga's deep faith in Christ, her devotion to the Rosary, and her love of family guided her all through her life. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 North 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon, Friday, April 23, 2010 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 4902 Laurel Hill Blvd., Woodside, NY. We thank all the dedicated caregivers of Hospice of the Valley for the comfort and loving care they gave to Mom. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Olga's name to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phx, AZ 85014.
