Norman Clark Bartlett, was born October 19, 1935 in Oak Park, Illinois and passed this life on December 10, 2019.
He was resident of Surprise, Arizona for 14 years. He was the son of the late Frederick L. Bartlett and Lilyan Bartlett (Katzman).
He was a student at the prestigious Purdue University, also the School of Mechanical Engineering and the Illinois Institute of Technology where he received his Master's Degree. He was accepted into the Western Society of Engineers in Chicago where he began his career.
He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Goss Printing Press Co. in Illinois where he was a Trouble Shooter and Designer of parts for newspaper printing presses. Norman was accredited in the book of Who's Who in America as one of the three engineers in the United States that was instrumental in solving any problem with his own designed equipment. He also worked at Northeast Industries where he traveled extensively for over 20 years, thereafter as an Independent Contractor of his own business, Press Room Engineering (LLC) and retired in 2008.
Norman was an active in Leadership at his church in Oak Park, Illinois at the North Berwyn Congregational Church before moving to Arizona.
He traveled considerably with his wife Daphne. Maui, Hawaii was Norm's favorite place to travel. He was a connoisseur of fine foods and loved to play golf in his spare time.
He is survived by a devoted and beloved wife, Daphne Bartlett (Groner), father of two sons, Brian and Scott Bartlett and grandfather of three. He leaves a host of family, friends and love ones.
