Norbert Wedl

Passed away Mon., May 2, 2016 at home in El Dorado, Sun City, AZ. He was born January 15, 1926, in Johnson Creek, WI to Roman and Mary (Werner) Wedl. Married Margaret Haas, Jun 24, 1948 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, WI. Nubby was a self-employed Contractor most of his adult life, in both Wisconsin and Arizona. He was a happy, loving man to everyone, especially children & animals. He enjoyed fishing, boating, playing cards, & visiting casinos occasionally. Nubby will be greatly and lovingly missed by wife Margaret (Sun City), grandson, Dan Hake (Phx), granddaughter Amber (Jeff) Gwaltney, great-grandchildren Cameron, Hannah, & Gavin, step-great-grandson Andrew, and sister Elizabeth (Betty) Teed, all of Fort Atkinson, WI. Sisters in law Lorraine Werner, Ethel Carnes, Elaine Jung, Gloria Haas, Doris Wedl, Marion Wedl, and special sister & brother in law Carol and Dave Kemmerer of Phoenix and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Christine, granddaughter Jamie, brothers Florian, Ralph, & Alfred, brothers in law Roger Teed, Kenneth, Donald, Russell, Gerald, Paul, Allie, & Richard Haas, sisters in law Lorraine Wedl, & Shirley Haas. A mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Wed., May 11, 2016 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. The Rev. Raymond Greco officiating.
