Nicklaus Schneider

December 31, 1969 — June 22, 2012

90 of Sun City, AZ passed away June 7, 2012. Nick was born Sept. 10, 1921 in Farwell, MI to Eva Magdeline Meier and Nicklaus Schneider. Nick served in the Army and Air Force during WWII. Nick was well known as a farrier and horse trainer. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge for 43 years. He is survived by three sisters: Eva Frieda Schaupeter of Sun City, AZ; Thressa Pratt of Trenton, MI; Bernadine Bowen of Barryton, MI plus several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Marion Davis; Karolina Pattison, and Kathleen Pacquette; 2 half sisters, Anne Fishwick, Catherine Rodgers and half brother, Alex Schneider. Burial will be in Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI. Nick’s sister, Frieda with whom he made his home says “Nick was always the first to provide assistance to anyone in need”.
