Milford Hutchison, Jr.

Milford Howard Hutchison, Jr. Milford Hutch Hutchison, 87, passed away June 13, 2009 at his home in Glendale of natural causes. He was born in Phoenix June 21, 1921. Milford is survived by his wife, Carolyn J. Hutchison; children Judy Lynn Hutchison-Bartel Steven, Rudy Hutchison, Douglas Hutchison, Monica Hutchison-Spears Barry; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are his large extended family including 4 sisters, Frances St. John, Murle Bob Dosh, Mary Helen Weldon Green, Barbara Curtis Black and Sandra Sullenger and Leon Hutchison; sister-in-law Bea Hutchison and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Milford was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Craig Hutchison, father Milford Howard Hutchison, Sr.; sisters Virginia Renick, Dora Dick Jacobs and brother Tim Hutchison. Cowboy Milford was a well established farmer/rancher in Glendale and owned Hutchison Hay Sales and raced his thoroughbred race horses at Turf Paradise. He served in the US Air Force during WWII. Milford was a member of the American Legion Post #29, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and VFW. Milford will be missed and he is loved by so many. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Friday, June 19, 2009 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Interment to follow at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, AZ. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to American Legion Post #29.
