Michael Corbin

Michael A. Corbin, 56 of El Mirage, Arizona passed away Thursday, January 10, 2018 from injuries sustained in a bicycle accident. Michael was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 5, 1961. He graduated from Roy C. Start High School and attended Owens Technical Community College. Michael worked for General Motors Cadillac plant in Detroit, Michigan and also several contractors in Ohio and Michigan as a certified electrician. Michael moved to Arizona in 1997 where he did maintenance, ground-keeping and helped with the monthly newsletter mailing for his church. He was a gentle and caring person who took special joy helping his friends and neighbors. Michael was a perfectionist and made sure every blade of grass was groomed to perfection and every garden stone was perfectly placed. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. Michael is preceded in death by grandparents William R and Mamie L Corbin and James D and Alberta V Ward. He is survived by his father and mother Gary R and Helen M Corbin, brother Gary L Corbin, two sisters, Dianne E Cameron (Jim), Kimberly J Vogelsang (Perry), three nephews Brandon E Corbin (Jenni), Matthew A Bired and Joseph A Bired and one niece Kirsten A Rustenbach (Michael) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michael's family wishes to thank Barrows Neurological Institute and staff for their care and compassion.
