Michael Belluomo, Sr.

Michael Daniel Belluomo, Sr., 94, of Peoria, Arizona passed away February 25, 2013. Mr. Belluomo was born March 22, 1918 in St. Louis, Missouri. He served in the US Army during WW II. He loved his profession as the owner of his own personal taxi cab business in New York City and enjoyed sharing his experiences of 25 years with with family and friends. After retiring to Sun City in 1980, he was active in the Italian American Club, Elks Lodge, Bocce Club and the Sundial Dance Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Angelina Belluomo and sons John Belluomo and Nicholas Belluomo. Survivors include son Michael Belluomo, Jr. and grandchildren, Julie Herman, Audra McQuarie, Victor Nanez and Dominic Belluomo. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00 a.m. with rosary at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 noon at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
