With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Merle Freeman. Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and loyal Friend.
In her Christian faith, she found joy and purpose in her relationship with Christ. Each day, without fail, began in devotion. Seeking guideance in family matters, praying for patience and that she keep an open heart. His promises she belived in, her gental spirit, was proof they were kept.
Whether in her work, her family, dear friends, or complete strangers she was kind and compassionate.
Her extended family and a close group of friends were dear to her and held close. Her children and grandchildren were loved without conditions.
As a caregiver, she worked 13 hour days well into her 80's, with the same love and tenderness shown to her family and friends. At 88 she remained committed to her calling, embodying a spirit of resilience and strength that inspired everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her oldest son and two brothers.
She is survived by her three children; four grandchildren; her brother; a niece and two nephews, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Her absence leaves a void that wont be filled, but her love will continue to guide and uplift us.
A Celebration of Life is planned to take place in the near future. When ALL can gather together. To celebrate the time we had with her, and to honor her memory. For now, we will find comfort in knowing she is in Heaven, reunited with those who have gone before her.
Rest in peace, know you were loved, and you will be missed. Sadley, your work here on this Earth is done, and Heaven has gained an angel.
The family asks that acts of kindness be made often in her memory; a fitting tribute to a life of serving others.
