Maurice Burrell, Jr.

Maurice “Mick” Burrell, Jr., 67, of Sun City passed away Feb. 7, 2011. Mr. Burrell was born in Midland, Michigan and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. A 50 year Arizona resident, he worked as a truck driver. Survivors include sons, Dave Burrell (Jana) and Bo Burrell (Karen); sisters Linda Corbat, Barb Olson & Beverly Grossmiller. 2 grandchildren Larisa & Michael Burrell also survive. Visitation will be 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Graveside service to follow at 1:30 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ. Donations are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
