Mary Regina Reynolds

Mary Regina (Wehner) Reynolds, born August 24, 1943, in New York City, peacefully passed away on January 31, 2025, in Sun City, Arizona. Mary is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Margaret and Vincent Wehner, and her sister, Margaret Anne. Her daughter Jacqueline and granddaughters Sarah and Amanda Judge remain to cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts.

A graduate of the Academy of Mount St. Ursula, Mary’s career spanned 45 years, from roles at the Crane Company and Conoco Oil to the Daily News. At the Daily News her dedication led her to managing the fleet of cars for reporters/photographers before transitioning to Facilities Manager. Soon after her daughter relocated West, Mary was able to realize a lifelong dream of living in Arizona and for the next 21 years, she created a home filled with love, laughter, great friends and, of course, family.

Mary was known for her beautiful smile, quick wit, and being a devoted cat mom to Rusty and Max. Her dry, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor combined with her wit brought joy to her friends and family. While very business savvy and stern, it was her thoughtfulness and unwavering loyalty that left the most lasting impact on all who knew her. She was a dedicated member of her church, serving as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and volunteering countless hours of her time for school and church events. In addition, for many years she served on the HOA board where she lived.

Mary enjoyed country music, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, ceramics, sewing, bowling, reading, and playing cards. At her house you could always enjoy ice cream and a glass (or two) of wine with her.

We will miss her dearly.

A one-day visitation will be held on February 26, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center in Sun City, AZ, followed by a Mass in her honor on February 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Saint Clement of Rome Church.
