Mary Joy

Mary Jane Joy, 79, of Sun City West, AZ passed away Oct. 21, 2015. Mary Jane was born in Lawrence, MA to Joseph and Juliette Collins. She worked as a Stewardess for Pan American and also had been a high school teacher. She moved to Arizona in 1997 and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Deer Valley Women’s Golf Club and the Sun City Clipped Wings. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her sister Suzanne Cleveland and brother Francis Collins. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tom Joy; daughter Susan Hohman of Concord, OH; sister Dede Whitfield of Hampton, NH; grandchildren Matthew and Sarah Hohman of Concord, OH, 5 nieces and 1 nephew. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W. Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of the Valley.
