Marvin Chandler

Marvin H. Chandler, (80 years), of Sun City, was promoted to glory on Wed., 12/30/15 after a 6 month bout with cancer. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann, his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Ball (husband Lloyd), sons Blaine (Stacey), Charles Darren and Dale (Shirley); 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was a faithful servant for his family, church (Palmcroft) and country (35 years military and civil service). A celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. Interment with military honors will be conducted at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, in appreciation of the excellent care they provided during his illness.
