Phoenix- Marjorie (Jaeger) Bond, 87, of Phoenix passed away peacefully Wednesday September 12th, at Adagio Luxury 4 group home in Phoenix with family surrounding her. Celebration of life will be on Thursday September 20th from 3-7pm at Menke’s Sun City Room (behind funeral home), 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. There will be another celebration of life in Ottawa, Ill on a date to be determined later. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Memorial Park in Ottawa, Illinois. Marjorie was born May 5 1931, in Ottawa to Albert and Marjorie (Green) Jaeger. She married Sheridan (Shady) Stark in 1968 in Ottawa. He later passed away in April of 1989. She then went on to marry Robert Bond in 1995 in Ottawa. He later passed away in July 2004 in Ottawa. Marjorie or (Toots) which became a nickname of hers, was a very caring, fun loving compassionate lady, who loved people and that was proven in the many jobs that she held over her years. She most noticeably known for her work as a glass worker at Libby Owens Ford in Naplate. She retired from the Daily Times newspaper in Ottawa before moving out to Arizona to be with family in 2010. She was a key member of First United Methodist church in Ottawa, was a Susan G Komen walker for Breast Cancer and later volunteered at Banner Boswell Hospital in Sun City, Arizona. She is survived by her two daughters Holly (Lee) White of Arizona; Heather Davies, of Arizona; a step daughter Susan Atwood of Minnesota; two brothers, Anthony Jaeger, of Florida; Mark Jaeger, of Florida; and a very devoted sister-in-law Dee Jaeger of LaSalle, Ill; and two step sons Randall Bond and Ronald Bond of Ottawa, Ill. She is also survived by many grandchildren and three great granddaughters, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers; Charles Jaeger and Michael Jaeger and one sister, Mary Lou Gorski as well as her devoted dog Ling.
