Marie Valencia

Marie Ann Valencia a long time resident of Del Webb, Sun City, Arizona died on May 7, 2014 at Aging With Dignity Care Home, Surprise, AZ. Marie was born September 16, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY. Marie worked in the medical field as a nurses aide until she retired and devoted her time volunteering at St. Joachim & St. Anne Parish. Marie would crotchet lap robe blankets for many of the residents at Sun Valley Lodge, and enjoyed making light hearted jokes and socializing with so many of the residents. Marie is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Suh Roerig residing in Surprise, AZ and two sons Glen Miller residing in Thomasville, NC and Charles D. Miller residing in Glendale, AZ. Memorial services will be held at St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic Church, 11625 N. 111th Ave, Sun City, AZ on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Marie was a lady who lived her life in simplicity.
