Maria Radtke, 61 died peacefully at her home in Sun City West on November 23, 2016. Born in Northern Ireland in 1955, Maria traveled the world with her Royal Air Force father. She lived in Germany, Yemen, England, Hong Kong, Singapore and Scotland before returning home to Northern Ireland to complete her schooling. Maria worked in England and then back in Northern Ireland before taking up a career in construction. She was among the very first women to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and ran her own company supplying specialist finishing plasters throughout Ireland. In 2000, she met Dennis Radtke and they married in Vegas in 2008. They moved to Sun City West in 2010, while Dennis continued his work overseas. She became Office Manager for Dr Cindy Schneider MD in her Center For Autism Research, Phoenix, continuing her work even after being diagnosed with cancer in 2014. The funeral service will be at 2.30pm on Friday, December 2 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
