Margaret Sucharski

Margaret Ann Sucharski, 95, of Peoria, AZ passed away April 21, 2007. She was born January 3, 1912 in Sauk Centre, MN and graduated from Sauk Centre High School in 1930. She worked at Swift and Company in Sauk Centre from 1930-1934 then attended St. Barnabas School of Nursing from 1934-1937. She worked at a Veterans Hospital in the Los Angles area from 1937-1942 then enlisted in the US Navy serving until 1952 and resigned at the rank of Lt. Commander. She attended the University of Washington to complete her nursing degree with an emphasis in public health, was awarded her Bachelor of Science degree in 1955. She was employed by the Anaheim, CA school district as a school nurse coordinator from 1955-1960. In 1960 Margaret married Chester J. Sucharski and moved to South Milwaukee, WI and in 1969 Margaret and Chester retired to Sun City, AZ. Chester died November 12, 1983 at the age of 85. In 1989 Margaret moved to her present home at Freedom Plaza in Peoria, AZ. A funeral mass will be held at 10:AM Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Interment to follow at Sunland Memorial Park. Menke Funeral & Cremation Center handled arrangements.
