Margaret Pease, 85

Margaret passed away peacefully on February 3, 2016, with her daughters Lee Ann and Gina at her side, at Glencroft Care Center/Memory Care home in Glendale, Arizona. Margaret was born September 18, 1930, in Westbrook, Maine to Angus and Blanche Hayer and was the sixth of nine siblings. She married her childhood sweetheart, and love of her life, Everett Pease in 1952, and they moved west to start a family. In 1958, they settled in Phoenix, Arizona where she was a homemaker and mother to three daughters. Margaret was a devoted and loving wife, mother, friend and sister. She lived a life of deep faith through the Catholic Church, and was a dedicated servant. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and spending time with friends and family. In later years, Margaret and Ev moved into their daughter Lee Ann’s home in 2010 where Margaret remained in her loving care after the passing of her beloved Everett in 2012 until 2014, when she moved to the memory care home. She is survived by two sisters, Regina and Josephine; three daughters, Lee Ann, Jo Lynn and Gina; six grandchildren, Julianne, Jessica, Stephanie, Roger, Jeffrey and Matthew; and two great grandchildren, Weston and Lillith. A memorial Mass will take place Thursday, February 11 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla Street, Glendale, AZ 85304. Burial thereafter, at 1:00 p.m. at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
