Margaret Josephine (Marge) Sullivan Sun City West- suffered a massive heart attack and left this world on Feb. 6, 2018. Born the youngest of 7 children to Robert and Annie (McEvoy) Hearty, Irish immigrants, July 20, 1934 and married in the Bronx., New York on April 27, 1957 to Kenneth Charles Sullivan, her loving husband of 60 years. Marge was the light of the lives of her husband, 5 daughters and their spouses, 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Throughout her life she brought love, joy, and happiness to her family and friends. Devoting her life to her family, she shared her values of loving, sharing, giving relationships (rather than luxuries and objects) as the key to happiness. Generously giving of herself, she prepared her daughters well providing the foundation for being wives, mothers, and friends through encouragement and support to be your best self. Marge was a strong, feisty and loving matriarch, and friend. Retiring to SCW in 1996, Marge and Ken spent their summers in Show Low, AZ. Marge enjoyed long drives in rural areas (usually ending at a casino), fishing, golfing, bowling, and bocce ball, concluding with “happy hour” with friends. A celebration of a life well lived –lovingly and joyfully--will be held Sunday for immediate family. Ken will take her to the area in the White Mountains that she so dearly loved, the road she treasured while looking for elk, deer, and wild turkeys for her final resting place
