Margaret Klossner

Margaret Louise Klossner, age 88, of Sun City AZ, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2015 at Banner Grand View Hospice Center. Margaret moved to Arizona with her beloved husband of 40 years in 1990 to enjoy the year-round sunshine and retirement community. She was born April 20, 1927, in Byron IL on the Barry family homestead to parents William and Minnie (Allen) Barry. Margaret graduated from Byron High School and received her business degree in Rockford Il. She married Karl R. Klossner May 20, 1975 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Margaret was an avid reader and loved mystery novels. She worked a variety of secretarial and executive administration jobs. She retired from Singer Health Center in the state of Illinois in 1989. Margaret was a loving caregiver; fantastic cook and devoted wife. She is survived by her husband, Karl; niece Margo (Marvin) Engelkes of Stillman Valley, IL; nephew Tim Barry of Byron, IL; numerous stepchildren, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her brother Barry A. Allen. There will be a private service for Margaret in the Arizona desert.
