Magdalen Ryan

Age 88, went to Heaven on 11/9/13, Glendale, AZ, formerly of Waconia, MN. Madelyn/Mom/Grandma was a beautiful soul who lived a long, full & loving life. She enjoyed being a Wife, Mother and Grandmother; spending time with family and friends, playing cards with friends at the Forum, mini-putt golfing with her grandchildren, was a very devout Catholic, took pleasure in giving to her favorite charities, and loved the Arizona sunshine. Preceded in death by her husband, Jim. Survived by son Dan (Kathleen), daughter Juli (Jim), five grandchildren, brother, Fr. Edgar Schaefer, nieces and nephews. Mom’s loving presence in our lives will be sorely missed, as will her wisdom, humor, friendship and beautiful laugh. She will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you Mom. Special Thanks to Maria and Andrei for such loving care with Mom, and Hospice of the Valley, we are forever grateful. Memorial Service FRIDAY November 22, at 9:00 AM St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Sun City, AZ. Private interment at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred, Juli Smith, 1050 Pontiac Lane, Chanhassen, MN 55317, to be given to Mom’s preferred organizations.
