Luella DeFrance

Luella Eve DeFrance, 89, of Sun City, AZ passed away Sept. 16, 2016. Luella was born May 26, 1927 in East Chicago, IN to Alexander and Ann Dragus. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and worked as a railroad office clerk. She moved to Sun City in 1987 where she was an avid golfer and member of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, the Elks Lodge and the American Legion Women’s Auxillary. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Russell, brother George and sister Florence. She is survived by her son Gary DeFrance of Crown Point, IN, niece Jerlynn Evans of Sun City, AZ, nephew David Rohrman of Arlington Heights, IL and numerous grand-nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., September 26, 2016 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arizona Humane Society, 9226 N. 13th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85021.
