Lt. Col. Paul Arthur Granger, USAF Ret., 86, of Litchfield Park, Arizona passed away April 4, 2012. Born June 15, 1925 in Manteno, Illinois, he served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II, Korea and Vietnam retiring as Lieutenant Colonel and was also a Dental Surgeon for Maricopa County. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, The Wigwam and the Luke AFB Officer’s Club. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Marilyn; children, Mary Anne Granger (Owen), Steven Granger (Tanya), Susan Granger (Erich) and Nancy Kartman; sisters Claire Hayen and Lucille Kehr and 6 grandchildren. Rosary service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 2012 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 13720 W. Thomas Rd., Avondale, AZ. Interment with military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Memorial donations are suggested to a favorite charity of donor choice.
