Louis Van Scoter

Louis “Bud” Leroy Van Scoter, 82, of Sun City, AZ passed away April 13, 2014, in Show Low, AZ. Bud was born in Eldred, Pennsylvania to Stanley & Rosa Van Scoter. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Monterey. A machinist in the tool & die industry, he moved to Arizona in 1967 and retired to the Sun City community in 2003. Bud is survived by his wife of 55 years Anna; children Tim Van Scoter, Cathy Gustin (Gary), James Van Scoter & Christina Roberts (Randy); brothers Robert (Judy), Thomas (Sheri) and Ronald (Debra) Van Scoter; sister Shirley Clark (Bill); 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Eugene Van Scoter. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 10233 W. Peoria, Ave., Sun City, AZ 85351. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the church.
