Louis Scieszka

December 31, 1969 — November 26, 2008

Louis Scieszka, 70, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord at home surrounded by his family on November 26, 2008. Lou was born in Baltimore, MD on July 20, 1938. He is survived by his loving family, his sister Geri Farrier Walt, 3 children; brother Stosh Scieszka Judy, 2 children; 3 daughters Daphne Horger Edward, Sabrina Sellers Greg, and Christine Duguid, also seven grandchildren Julie Horger, Joshua Sellers, Ashlie Sellers, Victoria Sellers, Hannah Sellers, Jocelynn Duguid, Garrett Duguid and a great grand-daughter Autumn Sellers. Lou was the type of man that after meeting him for the first time you realized that he lives his whole life for Christ. His family meant everything to him. There wasn't anything he would not do for anyone including a stranger. He will always be remembered for teaching each and everyone of us about faith. He also taught us why we need to apply it to our every day life. He taught us that no matter how much is on our plates God only gives us what we can handle. Even though Lou has entered Eternal Life with our Lord his spirit will always remain in our hearts. May the peace and love of our Lord always remain with us Amen. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. with rosary at 5:00 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 17111 W. Bell Rd., Surprise, AZ.
