Lorenza Contreras

Lorenza Aguilar Contreras, 87, passed away November 15, 2008 at her home in Glendale. Lorenza had lived in Arizona for over 55 years. Lorenza was the widow of the late Candelario G. Contreras; and the daughter of the late Pablo and Guadalupe Aguilar. Lorenza is survived by her five children, Isabel, Bertha, and Margaret Contreras of Glendale, two sons, Luis and Gilbert Contreras of Peoria, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, Rafaela Ortiz, Mary Adame, Librada Regan, all of Prescott Valley, and Lupe Aguilar of Glendale, four brothers; Paul and Joe Aguilar of Glendale; Refugio Aguilar of Spring Valley, and Louie Aguilar of Seattle, Washington. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2008, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral Mass will be at 9:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2008, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 8615 W. Peoria Ave., Peoria, AZ.
