age 90, peacefully journeyed from his home on Earth to his new home in Heaven on September 3, 2013. Lincoln was born on President Lincoln’s birthday, February 12th, hence the name. He was raised in Iron Mountain, Michigan, and after graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1941. Upon completion of his tour of duty, he enrolled in Purdue University, thanks to the G.I. Bill. After receiving his degree, Lincoln continued his studies and apprenticed to be a Pharmacist. He worked for a few years in Indiana, before moving to the Denver area. There he built his Pharmacy practice in Evergreen, Colorado. Lincoln was an avid skier and tennis player. He also travelled to every continent except Australia. Two years ago he was hoping to finally get to the land down under but his health began to fail. Lincoln was also an avid photographer, documenting his travels with thousands of slides and photos. His slides of the Egyptian Pyramids and the Great Wall of China are spectacular. A very special Thank You and God Bless You goes out to all the staff at the Royal Oaks Health Care Center. They truly are a loving, caring group of earthly angels. Lincoln’s needs were always met with a smile and great patience. Another special thanks to Sylvia Hays, a longtime friend who lovingly visited with Lincoln every day. Lincoln will be cremated and his ashes placed in the wall at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona. Via Con Dios, Linc
