Leroy Anton Ebert, 83, of Sun City, Arizona, formerly of Nampa, Idaho, died July 13, 2015 of complications of Parkinson's Disease. Mr. Ebert was born in Iowa City, Iowa on March 7, 1932 to George and Irma Ebert. He attended Horace Mann Grade School, City High School (1950) and the University of Iowa (1954). He was a retired Air Force Lt. Col. with 21 years of service, having been a navigator on B52's during the Viet Nam war. After retirement he taught high school in the Nampa, Idaho school system for 10 years. He is survived by wife of 55 years, Marianne, sons Andrew, Chris, Michael and David (Stephanie), daughters Patti (Bo Ansel) and Susan, five grandchildren, Tawnie Urizar, Austin Douglass, Ryan, Matthew and James Ebert and one great grandson, Daenan Douglass. He is predeceased by his parents and sister, Donna Mishak. Funeral will be held on August 6, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of St. Joachim & St. Anne, 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ with inurnment at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona on August 7, 2015.
