Lena Sprau Carter

Lena Bell Sprau Carter, 85, of Surprise, Arizona passed away April 28, 2014. Lena was born in Dexter, New Mexico and resided in Arizona for the past 70 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Ammon C. Sprau in 1981. Survivors include her daughter Virginia (Philip) Newberry; sons Mike (Loretta) Sprau and Randy (Mary) Sprau; sister Bettie Jo Smith, 6 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Visitation is 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014 at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
