Larry Robert Aviles, “Tio Larry,” died on Oct. 10 at his family’s home in Glendale. He was 43. His spirit is carried on by his mother Barbara, son Noah, three siblings Anthony, David, and Dina (Joe), and an extended family of friends from every walk of life. In his lifetime, Larry made friend after friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, be it to family or friends. Warm hearted and generous, there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do, everybody needs a Tio like Larry. Larry lived his life, making positive influences on every person and activity he encountered. A longtime friend to many. He was the cool Tio to his niece Alexandra and nephews Christian, Zackary, Nico and Luke. He took extreme pride in his son, niece, and nephews. Larry was born on Jan. 30, 1971, in Phoenix, AZ. He attended Apollo High School and lived in Glendale, AZ. Larry is reunited with his Dad, Alex Aviles. He will be sorely missed by family and friends, and will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend a Visitation on Sunday, October 19, 2014, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 5614 W Orangewood Ave, Glendale.
