Kenneth Lloyd King, 64 year old resident of Sun City, Arizona passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife and family on November 20, 2019. Kenny was born in Warren County, Illinois to Vincent L. King and Elynore Barnes King. Kenny graduated from Warren High School in 1973. He then later attended MIT in Milwaukee where he studied engineering. He started out his career with Bechtel and traveled across the country from Arizona to Michigan to New Jersey in the construction phase of nuclear plants. He eventually ended up at Exelon Corporation in Zion, IL, where he retired after 17 years with them.
Kenny enjoyed NASCAR, and attending Michigan International Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. He has been a member of the Loyal Order of Moose since 1992. He is a past Governor of the Zion, IL Lodge. Kenny was also a member of the Monmouth Masonic Lodge #37 where he became a 33rd Degree Mason.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents and infant son, Mikal.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Catherine Krakovsky King, daughter Ms. Jennifer King, sons Mr. Jeff King and Mr. Nicholas King, and stepchildren Ms. Anna Malloy-Zervos and Jack Malloy, Billee King Conard of Raleigh, NC, Debbie King Edwards of Monmouth, IL, one grandson and 4 step-grandsons.
