Kathleen Garcia

Kathleen past away on April 25, 2012, at the age of 60. She leaves behind son Joe and daughter-in-law Jenny, son Kenneth and daughter-in-law Stephanie, and daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Mike. She also left grandchildren Joslynn, Joshua, Molly and Ethan. She was a true historian who loved Arizona and English history. She was the proud author of Images of America: Early Phoenix and Images of America: Roosevelt Dam. She worked for the Phoenix Public Library in the Arizona Room for twenty plus years. Kathleen was a past Sheriff of the Arizona Westerns and a member of the Arizona Historical Society. The service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery at 2300 W. Van Buren Phoenix, AZ 85009 at the Encanto Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley in Katheen’s name.
