Katherine Wamer

Katherine Gloria Wamer, 90, died peacefully Thursday, September 22, 2016 following a long illness. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard G Wamer (2012), she is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Ann Borgman and her husband Terry; Deborah Ann Wamer Quinlan and her husband Robert; Gloria Holmes; Joni Wamer and her wife Kassie; her sons, Richard Guy Wamer, Jr. and his wife Dina; and Robert Guy Wamer and his wife Theresa. A loving grandparent, she will be missed by her grandchildren, Brian Plummer and his wife Marie; Kevin Plummer and his wife Tammi; Jennifer Vickers; Jeff Vickers; Richard Willer; Jacque Cohoon and her husband Craig; Kameron Wamer; Kay Wamer; Jeanette George; Michal Lahey and her husband Jeff; Ryan Shainen, and Rachel and Joshua Obedin; as well as her great grandchildren; Levi, Isaiah and Jeremy Plummer; Adriel Plummer; Melissa, Mathew, and Justin Lahey; and Dylan Willer. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving brother, Paul Christen and his wife Cheryl; several nieces and nephews; and cherished companion, her dog, Buddy. Born in Union City, New Jersey, August 2, 1926, the daughter of Otto Eugene and Katherine Dolarita Christen, she lived in the Sun City area since 1988. Gloria was a dedicated and loving wife and mother, who especially enjoyed family gatherings, had a delightful sense of humor, loved musical theater, and dreamed of one day going over the rainbow.
