Katherine A. (Yntas) Malcolm born in Lexington, MA on November 24, 1940. Formerly of Carlisle, Concord, Boulder CO, and Tucson, AZ, died November 5, 2021 at her home in Sun City West, AZ after long illnesses.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Martha Yntas and her brothers Paul, Joseph, and sister Martha. She married Paul F. (Fred) Malcolm in Concord MA on May 6, 1961. Together they have three children: Timothy Malcolm, Mesa, AZ, Margaret L. (Peggy) Proffitt, Tucson, AZ and James F. Malcolm Austin, TX. She is survived by her husband, children and eight grandchildren: Tyler and Evan Malcolm; Sean, Owen, and Samuel Malcolm; Zachary, Hannah, Jordan Proffitt and nephews John and Jim Provost New Hampshire and niece Mary Ann Tolleston Stoneham, MA.
Kathy was a graduate of Lexington High School and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) as a gemologist and associate of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers (NAJA) for many years before her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and Divine Mercy Devotion Group, Sun City West. She loved dancing, painting, sewing and many activities with her children husband and family.
