Katherine Hirth

Katherine Hirth born May 21, 1925 passed away on February 1, 2011. Katherine grew up in Glendale, AZ and graduated as a teacher from Arizona State University. Katherine and her husband Edwin B. Hirth II were married for 58 years and had four children. She was preceded in death by her husband, and son, Edwin B. Hirth III. She is survived by her sister Geraldine Tubbs, her children, Constance Mitchell, Gary Hirth and Sandra Kolb; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Her caring, loving spirit will be missed by all that loved her. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Feb, 4, 2011 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Burial to follow at Phoenix Memorial Park.
