Karla (Peterson) Adams

Karla was born on September 4th, 1936 at Storm Lake, Iowa to L. Verner and Alta (Osborne) Peterson. She graduated from Storm Lake High in 1954 and June 27th of 1954 married Kent N. Adams of Greenville-Rossi, Iowa. They lived in various states during their marriage but spent most of the years in the Tacoma, Washington area. In October of 2011 they moved to Sun City, AZ. Karla loved sports and mostly enjoyed baseball and football. She also loved to travel. Hawaii and Paris being her favorites. Karla is survived by her husband, Kent Adams, daughter, Kayla, of Sun City, AZ, son, Kim and his wife Karen of Milton, WA, daughter Kelly, and her husband Dan McVean of Puyallup, WA, daughter Kathy and her husband Mike Louderback of Puyallup, WA. Also surviving are granddaughter Nicole McVean, grandson Dan McVean, both of Puyallup, WA, granddaughter Raquel Reichert of Everett, WA, great-granddaughter McKenzie McVean of Puyallup, WA, and great grandson, Reuxnyn Reichert of Everett, WA. Karla passed away January 2, 2013 in Sun City, AZ after a short illness. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, 9849 N. 105th Ave., Sun City, AZ.
