Julia Juanita Brannon Muldner

Julia "Judy" Juanita Brannon Muldner was born January 22, 1928 in Missouri to Naomi and Elva Brannon. At a young age her parents and brother Cleave relocated to Peoria, Arizona. She attended Peoria High School. Judy passed away peacefully on December 16, 2017 in Sun City, Arizona. Judy married the love of her life Gus Muldner in June of 1945 and went on to have one son Gus "Butch" Muldner in 1947. Judy loved story-telling almost as much as she loved a spirited verbal spar. She was a fiery pistol, and would light up - simply sparkling when she found a good partner to banter with. She and husband, Gus delighted in escaping the valley heat most summers by retreating to their place in Flagstaff. In her spare time Judy enjoyed crocheting afghans to share with family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Cleave, husband of 62 years, Gus and their son, Gus Jr. who was only 20 at the time of his death. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
