Judith Parish

Judith Ann Parish, 70, of Sun City Arizona, died June 13th 2014. She is preceded in death by her husband, Sgt Major Lester Howard Parish. She is survived by her two daughters, Traci Swaw and Leslie Calhoun. She is also survived by her four grandchildren as well as her son-in-law, Jason Calhoun, her step-son, Lester Parish, Jr., in addition to her nieces, nephews and cousins. Judie, as she is known to many that loved her, worked as a professional legal secretary until her retirement. Her passion and love for animals brought her to the Arizona Pug Adoption and Rescue Network (APARN) where her desire to help led her to become an active member and foster mom for pugs in need. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 23rd, 2014 at 3:00pm at the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N 103rd Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351 with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made to APARN (www.aparn.com) in Judie’s honor.
