Judith Ann (Peddicord) Bishop OCT 27, 1937-May 16, 2011 Judi began her journey with the Lord in the company of her devoted and loving family. Judi was born in Waukegan, Illinois and moved with the Peddicord family to the Sulphur Springs Valley in 1942. She resided in Double Adobe, Douglas and Phoenix. Later, moving to Bisbee where she raised her family and participated in many local venues. She was an active member of St Patrick’s Catholic Church. Judi loved nature especially animals. She was a horse woman and gardener. She loved Cochise County and its’ beautiful sunrises and sunsets. She later retired to Glendale where she spent the latter years of her life. Judi was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt to her family. She definitely did it “Her Way” and will be missed by many. Judi was preceded in death by her father Joseph Andrew Peddicord, mother Helen Peddicord, sisters Merl Mckenzie and Marcella Sierra. Grandchildren Christopher Robertson and Wendi Bishop. Judi is survived by former spouse Max W Bishop, daughters Cindy Hammett (Butch) of Bisbee, Mary Robertson and son Travis of Peoria, AZ, sons Joseph (Kathy) of Tucson, Toby (Denise) of Glendale and Rusty (Donna) of Phoenix. Sister Jo Ann Salem (Johnny) of Peoria. Also, survived by grandchildren Ty Hammett (Elyse) of Tucson, Tad Hammett (Dulce) of Bisbee, Lindsay Bishop of Scottsdale, Thad and Brittany Bishop of Tucson, Ryan Bishop of Glendale, Brandon Shearer (Jessica) of Glendale, Aliena Shearer of Phoenix and six great grand children. Nephews John Salem of Kingman, niece and God Daughter Michele Contreras of Mission Viejo, CA and Timothy Salem of Peoria. Judi was blessed with the loving care of her children in the hour of need. The family dedicated themselves to the family Matriarch and were Her Angels on earth. The family wishes to thank Hospice of The Valley for their kindness and devotion to Judi and Her Family.
