Somewhere in heaven, God is stocking up on miniature candy bars and Cadbury Eggs, because Juanita Irene Davis was accepted into His kingdom on June 5, 2016. There to meet her was her husband, Harry, who preceded her in death by 18 years. Born October 26, 1928 in Madison, Missouri, Juanita grew up during the depression, making her of sterner stuff than most and she proved it by fighting tooth and nail to the very end. She was reluctant to leave her two daughters, son-in-law, grandson, granddaughter, granddaughter-in-law, two great granddaughters, two great granddogs, and countless friends and extended family, who loved her fervently and already miss her dearly. Not one to stand on ceremony, Juanita requested there be no service in her memory. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the wonderful organization who took care of her in her final moments, Banner Hospice, 2901 N. Central Ave., Suite 160, Phoenix, AZ 85012. Or, if you are as fond of candy as she was, please donate a bag of individually wrapped sweets to any military care package organization.
