Juan Flores

Juan Chavez Flores, 73, of Peoria passed away Dec. 6, 2008. He was born in Ejutla, Jalisco, Mexico and moved to Arizona in 1990 from California. He retired from St. Helens Catholic Church. An accomplished musician, Juan performed with Mariachi Tapatio. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Leticia; children Juan Ramon Flores Elvira, Jose Luis Flores, Anna Rosa Flores and Jessica Flores; brother Jose Flores Maria; sisters Maria Saucedo Juan, Aurora Corona Jesus and Margarita Lopez Juan; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Juan was preceded in death by his sons Alfonso Flores and David Hernandez. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12, 2008 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, AZ. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Avondale, AZ.
