We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joshua M. Hatley, a loving father, caring son, and cherished brother, who left us too soon 10 Sept 2024. At 45, he leaves behind three beloved sons, Gary Hatley, Anthony Hatley, and Joshua J. Hatley - JJ.

Josh is survived by his grandmother, Marge Hammer, his parents, Lana Hatley and Gary Hatley, and his brothers and sisters Misty (Keith) Hulbert, Clint Hatley, Skyler Hatley, and Stefanie Hatley. His family takes solace in the memories of his unwavering kindness and gentle spirit. Josh proudly served in the United States Navy deploying in support of Iraqi Freedom, a testament to his dedication and strength. His service was a source of pride and inspiration to those who knew him.

Josh’s childhood was filled with adventures of fishing and boating, where he learned the joy of a big catch and peacefulness of the water. It was no surprise he was comfortable in the Navy at sea. As he grew older Josh’s passion for cooking was on display any chance he could, whether it was grilling or cooking he enjoyed creating delicious meals for others.

Josh had a unique fascination with tigers, drawn to their strength and beauty, which reflected his adventurous spirit. This fascination with tigers was complemented by his passion for the World Wrestling Federation, where he thrived on the excitement and drama of the matches and cheering for his favorite wrestlers. Josh’s enthusiasm was infectious. His passions for both tigers and wrestling showcased his vibrant personality and love for the thrill of life.

Known for his selflessness and compassion, Josh was always there to lend a helping hand and offer a caring heart. His legacy of kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A memorial service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix on 25 September at 11:00 a.m. sharp where his family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and the profound impact he had on those around him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Tunnel2Towers – T2T.org (718) 987-1931 in Josh’s honor.

Josh will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love and warmth he brought into the world, fair winds and following seas – Rest in Peace Josh.
