Joseph Anderson Ray “Big Joe” Born On 2/12/1960 Entered Heaven 6/20/2020 Joe had a huge heart. He would go out of his way to help anyone. He recently moved back to Arizona to be closer to his family. He purchased a new home in Sun City and was excitedly furnishing it! He was born in Pennsylvania and adopted as a newborn by Elizabeth and Joe Ray. He took tap and ballet as a young kid. He was in Tap Class with Sharon Stone. He loved all things western, cowboys, and guns! His favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. He attended High school at Alhambra High. Go Lions! He played a tuba in the band to smuggle in alcohol to the football games. He was an expert Karaoke host. He was in the Navy as an Aviation Electricians Mate Airman E3.He was in AA for the last 30 years. Married two times. He is Survived by his 2 Daughters, Rebecca Lee Ledbetter, Matthew Ledbetter (Son in Law), Kelly Joann Ray, Steven Giron (Future Son in Law).5 Grand kids, Adam Joseph Heath, Michael Carley Heath, Mackenzie Elizabeth Heath, Zoey Joann Dovilla, Logan Wayne Dovilla. 2 ex-wives, Mary Jane McMullen, Marva Joann Myers-Ray. As everyone knows we are a very blended family. Dallas Guthrie Wright Myers is a stepson, he has a wife Megan, and one son Tristan. He also has a former foster brother Jerry Battles. Joseph Ray celebration of life services will be held Wednesday July 8th at 10am. CCV Surprise campus 14787 W Cholla St, Surprise, AZ 85379. Lunch reception to follow at 9837 W.
