Joseph Kachinski

Joseph E. Kachinski was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on May 5, 1921 and passed away in Sun City, Arizona on April 9, 2010 with his loving wife Peg and family by his bedside. Joe served in the US Navy during World War II as a Photographer 2nd Class. Upon his discharge from the Navy he worked for Bath Iron Works and then became a self employed Photographer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Brunswick, Maine and was also a Past President of the Maine Photographers Association and the New England Photographers Association. Joe was active in the Sun City Stained Glass Club and made many things that he would give away. Besides his wife, he is survived by his Daughter, Nancy and Son David (Jerri), and Grandchildren Joe (EE), James & Daughters Lori and Julie. There will be a memorial service this summer in Brunswick, Maine with burial in the National Cemetery in Augusta, Maine. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humane Society of USA.
