Joseph Blake

Joseph Michael Blake born on September 15, 1973, entered heaven on January 4, 2012. He was 38 years old and a resident of Litchfield Park. After complications with pneumonia, he passed away peacefully at the West Valley Hospital surrounded by loving family members. He was born in a Naval Base hospital in the Philippines and moved to the United States in 1976. He worked for Walgreen's Company for almost 20 years. He was one of three children to forever be remembered by his devoted brother Steven Blake (Tracy), and his loving sister Cathy Mae Blake. He is "Great Uncle Joe" to his nieces Cali, Ceralisa, Paige, Presley, Paris, Parker, and his nephews Paxston and Cannen. Joe is survived by his father James E. Blake (Sharon) mother Jennette Juta and step mother Cindy Blake, seven uncles, three aunts, several cousins and dearest friend John. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Catherine Sutton, Grandfather Cal Sutton, Grandmother Mary Belle Lucas, Great Aunt Barbara Malone and Great Grandmother Seleta Mae Martin. Joe touched the lives of many people with his smile, ability to make people laugh and loved being with his family. Friends and Family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 7th, 2012, at 3pm at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Arizona 85351. The family wants to express extreme gratitude to the nurses and doctors at West Valley Hospital for helping Joe pass on in peace. Their efforts and extra care while taking care of Joe touched the hearts of the family.
