Jonnie Lauchner

On Thursday, December 11, 2008, Jonnie Lauchner passed away while in the company of her loving daughters, Cheryl and Judy, and grandchildren, Brad and Deanna. Jonnie was born in Altus, Oklahoma to John and Mozelle Turner on March 16, 1929. She attended Glendale High School and University of Arizona. She was an avid softball player and cheerleader. She loved to play bridge with her dear friends. She played golf as a young adult and was actively involved in the Outhouse Open, which takes place every July. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She was a very strong lady who touched many lives. Preceded in death by her husband, James Lauchner and grandson JW Gilkerson, she is survived by her daughters, grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Anyone and everyone who would like to pay their respects and say good-bye to this wonderful lady is invited to a 10:30 a.m. viewing which will be immediately followed by an 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ.
