John Michael Juhasz, 93 years went to be with his Lord after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s on July 4, 2017, Glendale, AZ. He passed peacefully in his sleep for eternal peace. Born June 18, 1924 in Buffalo, NY joining his predeceased parents Leona and John Juhasz, Buffalo, NY sisters Margaret (Carl) Zauner, Betty (Joe) Szylak of Buffalo NY and his wife Marty who passed December 13, 2015. Survived by his daughter Duane (Steve) Murdock, son David Juhasz of CA, Grandson Zachary (Andrea) Juhasz of OR and Nephew Paul (Criss) Zauner of FL. John served in the Navy, WWII and Korean War. He met his love, Marty while working at NYCRR in Buffalo NY, married May 3, 1947. Moved to Glendale AZ 1959, a metal spinner and then a Peace Officer for ADOT Enforcement until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of the FOP State Lodge 23 and was a master woodcrafter, many friends received his works. John never met a stranger; he was a wonderful father and husband, generous, sweet man who enjoyed his life to the fullest. We want to thank West Valley Care Home and John and Vica Ganea for the warm loving way they cared for him. Service will be held for both John and Marty Juhasz July 14, 2017 at 10:30am at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
