John Gober

71, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on April 17, 2015 in Sun City, Arizona with the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved. John was born August 11, 1943 to John and Emma Gober in Erie, Pennsylvania. John chose a path of employment with the Pennsylvania Electric Company for 10 years before moving to Arizona in 1973 where he retired after 30 years of service with Arizona Public Service. John lives on in the hearts of his adoring wife Maxine and their five children; son's Mike Gober (Theresa) of Kansas, and Sam Jocewicz (Kelly) of Camp Verde, daughter's Lynn (Matt Robins) of Glendale, Susie (Al Klassen) of Glendale, and Stacy (David Ray) of Peoria. John was blessed with eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, his brother Tom Gober (Gail) of Manchester, Pennsylvania, and two sisters Judy (Bill Weber) Edinboro, Pennsylvania, and Kathy (Ron Loomis) from Mckean, Pennsylvania. John's Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 25th at 1:00 pm at the Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351, with a reception following at the Menke Sun City Room.
