Jeanne Scott

Jeanne Rose Scott was born on December 30th, 1929 in Heugnes, France and spent her formative years enduring the Worldwide depression of the 30’s followed by World War II and the Nazi occupation of her native France in the 40’s. As a young adult, Jeanne moved to the fabled Mediterranean beaches of Villefranche, in Southern France. There, she met the love of her life, Howard Scott, an American sailor in the US Navy. Jeanne and Howard were married in France and she moved to Howard’s hometown of Bluefield, West Virginia, where their daughter Tina was born. After leaving West Virginia, Howard pursued several different careers that took him and the family across the country, eventually to California where Howard embarked on a successful career in Restaurant Management. Jeanne and Tina joined Howard in this endeavor, which took the family to many different assignments across the Midwestern, Southern and Southwest U.S. They ended their working career in Phoenix. Their hard work lead to success that allowed Howard and Jeanne to retire early and pursue their passion of travel. Jeanne and Howard traveled extensively throughout the world. Jeanne and Howard were married for 54 years until Howard passed in 2016. Jeanne is survived by her only daughter, Tina Murray and her son-in-law David, residents of Paradise Valley Arizona. A funeral mass will be held at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 West Palmeras Drive Sun City, AZ 85373-2254 on July 1st at 10 AM.
