Jean (Petsch) Wiggans

Jean Kathryn (Petsch) Wiggans, 78 of Peoria, Arizona passed away peacefully March 26, 2016 at Banner Grandview Hospice in Sun City West, Arizona. Jean was born February 23, 1938 in Marysville, KS. She is survived by husband Jack Wiggans, a sister, Joan Faulkner of Indiana, brother Harold Petsch of Missouri, two sons Steve Wiggans and Bill Wiggans, 6 grandkids, and 6 great grandkids. She was preceded in death by daughter, Stephanie Lair and son, Jeffrey Wiggans. Jean was a military wife who had a loving marriage to Jack for nearly 60 years. She managed a household and raised four children when Jack was away serving in Vietnam and Korea. She had been a member of the Peoria Fine Arts Association, Peoria Book Club, and Red Hat Society. Her love of painting earned her many awards throughout the years. She was loving, caring, and accepting of all the people in her life. Visitation is open to the public from 11:30-12:30 April 4, 2016 with funeral service at 12:30 at Apostles Lutheran Church located at 7020 W. Cactus Road, Peoria, AZ 85381. Burial service will take place afterwards at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City, 85351.
