James Yungkans

75, of Buckeye, AZ passed away March 7, 2013. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was a veteran of the US Army serving in Korea. A west valley resident since 1978, he worked in the aerospace industry and was a member of the International Association of Machinists Local 519 and an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy in 2005. Survivors include his children, Roberta (Michael) Walker, Nancy Rodriguez, Jim (Jacque) Yungkans, Kathleen Yungkans and Gary Yungkans; aunt Lois Maynard; sisters Patricia Lung, Beverly (Howard) Glass and Dolores Burgess. 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren also survive. Visitation is 5-7 p.m., Friday, Mar. 15, 2013 at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, AZ. Funeral service is 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Mar. 16, 2013 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 6301 W. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, Arizona. Interment will be at the Louis B. Hazelton Cemetery in Buckeye, AZ.
